Course Description
From the founding ideas of the institution to answer the needs of educating professional nurses, the faculty believe in upholding and continuing an educational program replete with a learning climate that: recognizes the totality of man as the focus of the mission of service; develops the student’s ability to make choices and decisions based on ethical, spiritual, moral, cultural, social and democratic values; innovates in the absence of technology; enhances and conserves the nations heritage.
The College of Nursing is concerned with the effective implementation of the revised BSN integrated curriculum which is competency based and community oriented. At the end of the program the students are expected to:
- Develop a sensitive awareness of the health needs of local and global society as well as a commitment to the alleviation of problems arising there from;
- Acquire the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes for the promotion of health, prevention of illness, restoration of health and alleviation of suffering;
